Travian Hint: How to Get Attacker Medals

No, it’s not just a dream. You can achieve that, now and again.
It’s not impossible nor difficult to get this kind of medals without using any cheat tricks in your Travian playing.

How ? All you need is 1..2..3 steps like below:

Ok, let’s see the details

1. Troops

To get attacker medal of course you MUST have troops, actually medium to huge size of troops, or everyone often call hammer size troops. How big is the size ? It’s depends on when you want to achieve this medal ? It’s also depends on the competitors you have. It’s not single role playing game right ? For the early till mid game, I assume around 1k till 2k crops troops is enough for you to start with the hunting of the medals. For lower casualties, I prefer suggest you to have around 1.5k till 2.5k (at least) crops size as your hunter troops. The type of the hunter troops can be the combination of infantry and cavalry. Don’t use rams or catapult for this mission, it won’t effective.

2. Online time

The second things you shouldn’t forget, this hunting thing is time consuming. You should get online as much as you can to keep you are in the top 10 list attacker of the week. Remember, the important key how to success in Travian is your online time. You may be the best player in your server or event the most experienced player, but with lack of online time, you won’t be the winner of this game. Everyone can beat you while you are offline. How many hours should you spent for this hunting ? I personally spent around 10-15 hours a day in my hunting time. It will greatly help you if you can have decent sitters or duals to help you keep online and keep send the attacks to your targets.

3. List of targets

Maybe this is the most important factor in the hunting attacker medals: you must have targets. What is the best target to be listed here ? There are 2 type of targets, that is players or oasis (nature). Oasis may be the best target you can attack to get attacking point. It won’t cause you big trouble to send you counter attack right . So, list all of your surrounding oasis to be attacked like crazy during the week. How many oasis depends on how though your competitors are. For 1.5k till 2.5k crop size troops, you can aims 300-400 inhabitants in each oasis. Assuming you attack 400 inhabitant size oasis, you will need around 25 oasis to get 10k attacking point. To get the attacker medal, 10k might enough to put you in the last 10th position of attacker of the week. Inserting some medium size player targets will helps you a lot also with the attacking point you can achieve, but you prefer choose the more inactive players with some medium troops than the active players.

Here is the compilation steps you can follow :

1. Pick your week to start the hunting. It suggested you start the hunting since 00:01AM of your picked week.

2. Attack your targets like crazy, attack them now and again from your target list. Don’t waste time not sending your troops to attack anything or you will loose precious time and chance to keep your name in the top 10 attacker of the week

3. Keep builds your hammer troops while you attacking. The troops you send to attack will die right ? So you need new troops to replace them and keeps the numbers of your hammer troops to keep the attacks frequency

4. For quicker result, better send the hunter troops from 2 hammer village you own. 1 village troops might won’t best result to boost your attacking point if your competitors use 2 village troops.

5. Choose bigger oasis (bigger inhabitant size) if your competitors still hard to be passed. Of course this will need you have bigger size of hunter troops.

Hint :

Attack each oasis once for best result, since after your 1st attack, there would be small size of inhabitant left on that oasis, and this won’t give you big point of attack and make you waste your “limited” time of the week.

Send your hero along with your hunter troops. If you use 2 village as the hunter troops, send your hero in 1 of them. This will help your hero to gain more experience beside helps to save your troops from bigger casualties. Set your hero point to attacking-bonus point for this help.
